Planning
For my final project, the two main sources I will use are the book America Pathways To The Present and the site Wikipedia. These are good sources because they is all the information I need to know there and also the book is a approved source that was revised so all the information there is completly right. Doing a regular google search and not a advanced search is not such a good idea because then the search is very global and all sorts or information come out. With advanced search the search is specific and you get what you are looking for. It is better to get information from a book or a online encyclopedia from a site you got from a search engine because the information from books or online encyclopedia are sure to be right and not like a site from a search engine.

Teenager Problem
1. A problem in every day life for a teenager is bullying. They have to deal with it which is a hard thing to do.
2. The first solution would be to ignore the bully. The bully might continue to bully for a long time but at the end he would probably stop. The bad thing about this is that the kid would still get hit for a while. Another solution would be to fight back the bully. The kid could get beat up but its always worth giving it a try.
3. If the kids ignore the bully the bully would get tired of bullying them and then eventually stop. And if they fight back the bully they could have a small chance of beating him and then he would stop it.
4. I think the kids should gather up and then fight back the bully but all together. Together they can beat him and then he would stop bullying them.

Baby Fat May Not Be So Cute After All
The issue is obesity with children in the USA. There are many precautions that have already been taken such as taking away cupcakes from cafeteria or other fat food. But some research made us find out that obesity sometimes starts when we are babies. Here are some facts about this.
¶The chubby cherub-like baby who is growing so nicely may be growing too much for his or her own good
¶Babies whose mothers smoked during pregnancy are at risk of becoming obese, even though the babies are usually small at birth.
¶Babies who sleep less than 12 hours are at increased risk for obesity later. If they don’t sleep enough and also watch two hours or more of TV a day, they are at even greater risk.

A progressive thinker would think of solutions that would work on the long run but that would be effective. He would find reasonable actions to take and take them and make changes. Also , the decisions he will make will be very thoughtful and smart.

Imperialism
"Imperialism is the policy of forcefully extending a nation's authority by territorial gain or by the establishment of economic and political dominance...". Imperialism is when a nation expands its influence through political, economic, and democratic way.
Examples
There are many examples of imperialism through 1890 to 1914. I will cite a few to give you an idea of imperialism. In 1893, American business groups, with the help of United States Marines, overthrow Hawaii's Queen Liluokalani and set up a provisional government. In 1903, Panama gives the United States control over the Panama Canal Zone for $10 million. In 1907 The Great White Fleet tours the world as a display of the impressive naval power of the United States. In 1914 the President Wilson sends troops to mexico to assist Mexican revolutionaries. These are all examples of imperialism.
The source of my examples is the book we use in class.
Causes of Imperialism
There are many causes of imperialism. There is economic factors, military purposes, and social purposes.Economic factors such as natural resources that not all countries have , which therefore make them have to get them from different countries. If a country needs a special natural resource in order to make some kind of manufactor and it doesn't have any of that resource, it will have to go get it somewhere else.In a military point of view, countries were starting to evolve and all were starting to become advanced, and countries didn't want to fall behind therefore this was another cause. When I say social purposes, I mean all human factors such as religion, health and other. Religion was a "big" cause of imperialism because it spread fast. Also some countries needed some medicin from other countries which was another cause of imperialism. These were the causes of imperialism.
Pros And Cons
Pros
- Bigger nations introduced to smaller nations technology and industrialization which boosted their economy.
- In many nations education was more important now and encouraged.
- Since there were so many development in nations, there was better health care available.
- New and better transportation system.
- Food production and economy grew.
- Some nations were forced to have new religions.
- Many traditions and cultures were forgotten and lost.
- Natural resources were exploited, making them limited.
- Basic rights taken away from people, leading to discrimination and slavery.
- Many Asians and Africans were shipped to America and England, against their will as plantation slave labor.
Op/Ed
In my opinion imperialism is both positive and negative. All the positive aspects of imperialism equal all of the negative aspects of imperialism. As a global view, it is good that there is imperialism for all the good thing it brings even if there are some negative effects of that. It is like many good things in life. They are good but many have something negative in them but if you look at a global view it is worth doing. I see imperialism like that.

Globalization
Globalization: To develope something and make a international influence.
Pros: Globalization has many pros. First every culture gets to share each others cultures all over the world. It is also a very good thing economically. Also, it gives access to countries products from all over the world. Like McDonalds in Morocco is an example, or TGI Fridays in Morocco.
Cons : Political problems. Countries may get into fights because of globalization because they do not accept their culture being changed. Also globalization sometimes make new generations forget about their original cultures. Like at the moment, McDonalds is replacing Chinese fastood in China. Another problem is medical. When products are transported all over the world they might catch deseases that are then transmitted to the new country which might cause many problems.

Virtual Mobile 2.0
Mr. Buffet, sir, good afternoon. It is a privilege to be here today to present our newest revolutionary form of communication. I hold in my hand the Virtual Mobile 2.0, a gadget that will forever change the way we view communicational devices. This tiny machine is more capable than ever before, we have edited its performance in all aspects to make it perfect. What’s special about the Virtual Mobile 2.0 is that it brings your interactions to life. When speaking to someone, his or her facade emerges virtually before your eyes. The device works as a portable video call and has access to any and all network on this planet. The Internet is faster than ever and is incredibly easy to use. Also, watching videos on it is an amazing experience because of the impeccable resolution and the adjustable display size. The gadget is controlled vocally and remembers the user’s voice. Finally, this extraordinary tool is 2½ inches long, 1 inch wide, and ¼ inch thick. Best of all, it only costs 699$!

We will use infrared projectors made by “Shanghai Yayuan Lighting Appliance Co., Ltd.” to be able to project the calls in front of you. The glass for the device’s touch screen will be made by “Hyulipo” (a South Korean glass factory) and will then be shipped to India, by “The Shipping Corporation of India, Ltd” also known as “SCI” where it will be accumulated with the rest of the phone. The core of the device will be made of aluminum alloy in a small factory in the midst of Beijing.
We will employ Chinese laborers and make them work in Beijing and Shanghai because we were able to maintain great deals. We will have around 400 laborers whom we will pay 98$ per month. We’ll also have employees in India because we were able to find a cheap shipping company named “The Shipping Corporation of India, Ltd”. The workers there will be paid 102$ per month because of their quicker productivity, but we will employ 325 of them.
I have already written a letter to the leaders of China (Hu Jintao) and India (Manmohan Singh) about this project and they accepted my proposition to let us work in their countries. Their only regulations were that we had to pay all the workers sufficiently and it was highly forbidden to pollute the cities. These conditions aren’t going to be a problem to abide by because we already agreed to pay and our factories will be situated in rural sections of India and China, therefore we will have no problems with the Government.

If you give us the funding to industrialize the virtual mobile, 22% (153.78$) of every product sold will go into your pockets, and the remaining 78% (545.22$) will be used to pay for the commercialism, factory workers, shipping, materials, and the inventors. Apple, Samsung, Sony, Nokia; none of them have expanded their market to this magnitude but you, sir, could be the first. People all around the world have been waiting for something new. Something extraordinary! This is the answer to all of their calls! We hope you consider our offer, sir.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Morocco Revolution!
The discussion I had with my parents made me learn a lot about the Moroccan Revolution. The revolution was in communication, industrial and more. For communication, there are two brands that have been in morroco for many years, Maroc Telecom and Medital, but now during these past few years a new brand opened called Wana. Then, there is the industrial revolution. Many shops and restaurents opened here that come from america or other countries. Like Fridays, Macdonalds, Quick, Pizza Hut, Kaysan and more. For the shops there is Zara, Derb Ghalaf, and more. Also, something very impressive about the evolution of Morocco is that a Casino opened which is demonstrates the evolution of morocco since gambling is usually hram(against the religion). But yet a casino called Mazagan opened a few months ago with is a resort with a casino in it.
